Весь вечер дождь колотит крыши,

Уныло нагоняя сон.

Нас не спасет ни гром,

Ни погребальный звон…

Луна с субботы прибавляет

И этот жар нам не унять

Найдется крест на нас,

Его нам не обнять…

Князь Тьмы нас гордо охраняет

И ветер молча разобьется

О строй кораллов с желтых вод.

Сквозь них и мы ведем

Безжизненный поход…

А вечер вдрызг промочит крыши.

Умоет звезды за окном.

Нас не спасет ни гром,

Ни погребальный звон…

Не будем больше мы вдвоем…
