Спой ржавым басом мантры берендеев

С той стороны асфальта ночью лунной

К нам постучится Митя Менделеев.

А мы варили странный черный кофе

Взаимностью на стук не отвечая,

Мы безразличны к мукам на Голгофе,

Нас не колотит, не трясет и не качает.

Дожди прольются, вымоют витрины,

Где наших лиц оранжевые пятна.

Нам демиурги мрачно ставят мины,

И мы на них наткнемся, вероятно.

А Менделеев постучался глухо

И плюнул в щель асфальта злое слово.

То слово мухой залетело в ухо

И превратился человек в корову.

И превратился человек в дрезину,

И превратился человек в ослицу,

И превратился человек в медведя

И лунной ночью с воплем жрет малину.

А совести нету у гадов морских

Наш разум размерен и тих…
