Par un beau mariage et beaucoup d’enfants

Pour nous, l’aventure commence aujourd’hui

Puisqu’on se marie, l’amour qu’on se jure

N’est pas garanti, vais-je dire oui?

Au nom de la loi, nous vous déclarons unis

Par le mariage, embrassez-vous donc

Car vous êtes bons pour la vie conjugale

Voici deux alliances pour nous rappeler

Secours, assistance et fidélité

Avec le sourire, avec quelques pleurs

Avec quelques fleurs, nous aurons le pire

Et puis le meilleur, toutes les couleurs

Au nom du hasard, c’est blanc puis c’est noir

Le dimanche c’est bal, et puis c’est lundi

Au matin tout gris, c’est la vie conjugale

Après les orages et les arcs-en-ciel

Notre histoire sage deviendra plus belle

Nous partons à deux pour ne faire qu’un

Au bout du chemin, je vois par tes yeux

Et moi par les tiens, puis on verra bien

Au nom de la vie, les jours ont suivi
