Кто встречает лето вслед за весной?

Раньше, раньше белого облака

Стая летела, ой соколов.

Впереди светлый Финист и Рарог

Над бескрайними мчатся лесами.

Пой, безумец, ты слышишь?

Среди меда-травы луговой…

Выше, выше отчаянья полные,

Выше, выше еще полусонные.

К небу, к небу песни летят,

К небу, к небу прорваться хотят.

Оглянись по болоту тысячи лап кровоточат подушками, болью исходят.

Но идут за тобой в тишине лесов звери черные-Дети Ночи,

Закрывая глаза от яркого солнца, поднимаются вверх за тобою вперед…
