Wynton Kelly was an American jazz pianist and composer born in 1931. His blues-based style made him one of the finest accompanists in jazz. Having begun playing professionally at age 12, he had already scored a number-one R&B hit at 16. In the 1950s, he collaborated with Дайной Вашингтон and Диззи Гиллеспи and released his debut album as a leader.
