Wayne Shorter

Wayne Shorter was an American jazz saxophonist and composer born in 1933 in the United States. He rose to prominence as a member of Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers in the 1950s, where he distinguished himself as an outstanding saxophonist and composer. In the 1960s, he joined the Miles Davis Quintet , cementing his status as a key figure in jazz. His well-known compositions include "Footprints" and "Speak No Evil" Shorter also co-founded Weather Report , which became one of the most influential jazz fusion bands. His contribution to jazz music remains unrivaled.
