Владимир Туриянский is a Russian poet, composer, and bard, born on August 21, 1935, in Moscow. In addition to his musical career, he worked as a radio electrician and geologist. His work encompasses the genres of Russian pop and bard songs, and also includes interpretations of foreign original works. Туриянский grew up in difficult circumstances: his father was repressed in 1937 and died in the Gulag. Despite this, he left a significant mark on musical culture, creating songs that became part of the legacy of Russian bard music. His contribution to the bard song genre remains important for subsequent generations.
