Steve Morse is an American guitarist and songwriter born in 1954. He is known for his contributions to the progressive rock and foreign rock genres. He was a member of the legendary band Deep Purple Steve Morse 1994 to 2022 and also led his own project, Steve Morse Band . He has been named Guitarist of the Year several times by Guitar Player magazine. In 2018, Classic Rock magazine included him on its list of the greatest guitarists of all time. His virtuoso technique and contributions to the evolution of rock have made him an iconic figure in the music industry.
