Sleepy Brown (born January 24, 1970) is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is a member of the Atlanta-based production team Organized Noize , known for producing hits for artists such as Outkast , Goodie Mob , and TLC . One of the most famous songs Sleepy Brown co-wrote with Organized Noize is TLC 's " Waterfalls ," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the summer of 1995. Sleepy Brown has made significant contributions to the development of hip-hop and pop music through his work as a performer and producer.
