Margenta is a Russian musical project founded in 2003 by Margarita Pushkina, Gennady Matveyev, and Igor Tarasov. The group works in the classical metal genre and is known for its concept albums. In 2006, a separate branch Margenta emerged— «Династия посвящённых» —created with the participation of Sergey Terentyev and Sergey Skripnikov. Margenta key releases include "Otletalis," "Neytralizator Gloomosti," "Dym. Fortress. Wolf," and the rock opera "Occitania." The project has made a significant contribution to the development of the Russian metal scene, combining music with literary and historical themes.
