In the 1940s Louis Jordan earned the nickname "King of the Jukebox" due to his popularity and influence on the music industry. His work included hits such as "Choo Choo Ch'Boogie" and "Is You Is or Is You Ain't My Baby" Louis Jordan had a significant influence on the development of traditional jazz and rhythm and blues, becoming one of the genre's pioneers.
