Jasta , real name Jamey Jasta , is an American vocalist born on August 7, 1977. He is best known as the lead singer of the metalcore band Hatebreed and the sludge metal project Kingdom of Sorrow . Jasta is also the frontman of the metalcore band Icepick . Prior to his work with Hatebreed , he fronted the hardcore band Jasta 14 His work has had a significant influence on the development of the metalcore scene, and his projects remain a vital part of the genre.
