Игорь Тальков (1956–1991) was a Soviet rock musician, singer, songwriter, guitarist, poet, film actor, and writer. Born in the USSR, he founded and fronted the rock band «Спасательный круг» , and also collaborated with the bands «Апрель» , «Калейдоскоп» , and «Электроклуб» . His work included poignant social lyrics that made him a cult figure in the Russian pop scene. Among his famous songs are «Чистые пруды» and «Россия» . After his tragic death in 1991, he left behind a significant legacy that influenced the development of Russian rock music.
