DJ Muggs (real name Deejay Muggs ) is an American DJ, engineer, and music producer, born in 1968. He is best known as a member of the legendary hip-hop group Cypress Hill and as the leader of the art collective Soul Assassins . His career also includes participation in the trip-hop project Cross My Heart Hope To Die . DJ Muggs has worked with numerous renowned artists, including House of Pain and GZA , and has released several solo albums. His contributions to the development of hip-hop and his experimentation with electronica have made him a key figure in the genre.
