Tricky (real name Эдриан Николас Мэтью Тоус , also known as Adrian Nicholas Matthews Thaws ) is a British trip hop musician born in 1968 in the UK. One of the founders of the trip hop genre, he became known for his unique style, which combines cantilena with rap. Tricky began his career in the Bristol underground scene and released such landmark albums as "Maxinquaye" which received critical acclaim. His collaborations with Massive Attack and other artists solidified his status in the music industry. Tricky has had a significant influence on the development of trip hop, becoming an icon of the genre.
