
Cem Karaca (full name: Мухтар Джем Караджа ) was a Turkish rock musician born on April 5, 1945, in Turkey. He became one of the key figures of Anatolian rock, a genre that combines elements of traditional Turkish music with Western rock. During his career Cem Karaca collaborated with bands such as Apaşlar , Kardaşlar , and Moğollar . His songs, such as "Resimdeki Gözyaşları" and "Tamirci Çırağı" , became iconic in Turkey. He died on February 8, 2004, leaving a significant legacy in Turkish rock music.
