Was für Viele einfach neu und faszinierend klang

Straßenmusik, Hochzeitsfeiern, Auftritt hier und da

Dann die rsten Touren — wenig Mnschen kommen hin

Aber doch schon eine Ahnung, da ist noch was drin

Fernseh’n, Höhner, größ're Säle und dann kommt der Tag

Eine große Plattenfirma gibt uns 'nen Vertrag

Was für eine Reise, was für eine tolle Zeit

Niemand hätte je gedacht wir kämen mal so weit

Doch das aller wichtigste, wir reden nicht d’rum 'rum

Plötzlich wird es stürmisch, Clemens sagt aufwiedersehen

Ein paar Jahre später will auch Ferenc lieber gehen

Gott sei Dank kommt Nils dazu und mit ihm frischer Wind

Björn singt jetzt den Bass, der ist ja quasi noch ein Kind

Started in the school choir — over 30 years ago

Brass group, rock band — it wasn't difficult to make noise

Lots of fun, more fooling around than rehearsing

Without too much ambition, smiled at more than praised

Shortly before graduation we started with harmony singing

Which for many just sounded new and fascinating

Street music, wedding parties, performances here and there

Earn a few marks — all wonderful

Then the first tours — few people get there

But you already have an idea, there's still something in it

TV, Höhner, larger halls and then the day comes

A big record company gives us a deal

What a trip, what a great time

Nobody would have ever thought we'd get this far
