Andavano nella notte

in due lungo le mura

andavano due uomini

nella notte fredda e scura.

Due anime d’incenso

due vinti ed invincibili

due figli di nessuno

due storie invisibili.

Il primo aveva

il passo piùveloce

e le sue spalle

erano curve come quelle

di chi conosce

il peso di una croce.

Con la vita c’era andato

sempre a muso duro

era stato il campione

aveva sempre combattuto.

Ma una notte

come tante

alla settima ripresa

sul tappeto del quadrato

vide il volto

il volto della resa.

per uscire di qua

dalle mura di Caos

di Caos città.

L’altro andava lento

una gamba trascinava

il segno di una sorte cattiva

che dietro si portava

Nel circo degli Zanko

scoprìla sua passione

volare senza rete

nel cielo del tendone.

Ma una notte come tante

che l’orchestra restòmuta

nella sabbia del cerchio

vide il volto

il volto della caduta.
