Today as I went walking

I looked around carefully

At the things people worship

As their deity

Things they do to their bodies

That eats away at their minds

They want a Garden of Eden

But it’s a place they’ll never find

The idle things you worship

This I proclaim to you

That the God who made everything

Is the one I take my troubles to

In Him we live and move and have our being

The Lord commands everybody

To humble themselves and repent
