Ich lass mich einfach treiben und treibe weit hinaus auf das Meer

Dort schleudern mich dann Wind und Wellen wie sie wollen hin und her

Ich gehe unter und versinke wie Beton auf dem Grund

Doch steig ich bald wieder nach oben in ner Blase aus Luft

An der Oberfläche werd ich von der Sonne erwärmt

Und steige auf 20 000 Meilen über dem Meer

Vogelgleich und vogelfrei in einem Wolkenkuckucksheim

Schaut die Erde so harmlos drein und wirkt so klein

Die Berge bremsen meine Wolke und lassen Regen ab

Ich bin mittendrin und prassel auf die Pflanzen herab

Von dort fall ich auf den Boden und sicker hindurch

Werde Teil einer Quelle und zum Bach und zum Fluss

Schließlich fließ ich durch Dämme und erzeuge und werde zum Strom

Lass Dich mit mir treiben und wir sitzen in einem Boot

Lass Dich mit mir treiben weit hinaus auf das Meer

Folg mir auf jenem Kreislauf, der das Leben beherrscht
