Ein schwaches Licht verbrennt am Horizont

Und neue Träume ruhen in mir

Ob diese Strasse jemals enden wird

Oder führt sie bis zu dir

Und wie der Tod gefangen in meinem Herz

Scheint jede Wirklichkeit erfroren

An einer Kreuzung teilt sich mir der Weg

Doch ist die Hoffnung fast verloren

Vielleicht bleib ich für mich in dieser Welt allein

Wie oft hab ich gehasst und dich umsonst geliebt

Ein dunkler Engel den du einfach übersiehst

Und meine Blicke folgen stumm und blind

Ein leises Klopfen an der Tür

Der Horizont ganz leise, schreit mir zu

Und zeigt die Richtung bis zu dir

Mit einer Leere die mich niederdrückt
