Tränenpalast - Mantus

Ich lausche der Nacht und höre stille Gesänge

Dann stehe ich auf und stürze mich in die Menge

Am Rande der Stadt, dort werfen Kinder mit Steinen

Gedanken in mir, die völlig sinnlos erscheinen

Wer traut sich die Welt, der wird sich selbst verletzen

Nicht anders als sich nackt in die Kälte zu setzen

Ich schließe mich ein, versuch mich nicht zu bewegen

Und Leere erfüllt den Raum

Ich hab die Erde gefühlt, ich hab die Menschen gesehen

Und alle Trauer und Wut, sie wollte nicht mehr vergehen

Ich starre in mich hinein und trage all diese Last

Bis in die Tiefe der Zeit, in meinem Tränenpalast

Gedanken, die kommen, sind weder gute noch schlechte

Sie reißen mich fort in tief neurotische Nächte

Ich rede mit dir in ganz poetischen Worten

Dann schrei ich Parolen an bevölkerten Orten

Am Ende der Zeit wird die Erinnerung siegen

Und außer der Angst ist nur das Leben geblieben

Es blutet in mir, ich grabe stumm in den Resten

Gebete an Gott, die bald den Himmel verpesten

I listen to the night and hear silent songs

Then I get up and throw myself into the crowd

On the outskirts of town, there are children throwing stones

Thoughts in me that seem completely pointless

Anyone who dares the world will hurt themselves

Not unlike sitting naked in the cold

I lock myself in, try not to move

And emptiness fills the room

I felt the earth, I saw the people

And all the sadness and anger, they didn't want to go away anymore

I stare inside myself and carry all this burden

To the depths of time, in my palace of tears

Thoughts that come are neither good nor bad

They tear me away into deeply neurotic nights

I speak to you in very poetic terms

Then I shout slogans in crowded places

At the end of time, memory will triumph

And apart from the fear, only life remained

It bleeds inside me, I dig silently in the remains

Prayers to God soon to pollute the sky
