Il regarde l’ocan

Il pense l’autre rivage

Imagine d’autres visages

La peu fonce les yeux brids

Cheveux friss ou cheveux raides

Celui qui est de l’autre ct Il a peut-tre besoin d’aide

Son regard est pur l’enfant

Et son geste si beau, si grand

l’cole on lui avait dit

D’crire un mot pour ses amis

Il a crit: Paix dans le Monde

Sur un petit papier fleuri

Il a pens: La Terre est ronde

Des amis, faut pas que j’en oublie

Ce petit bonhomme tout blond

Peut pas faire le tour de la Terre

Alors il fabrique en carton

Un bateau pour dfier la mer

Puis il se tourne vers l’horizon

Plein de fiert pour son bateau

Il a dpos tout au fond

Pour ses amis, le petit mot

Il trempe ses pieds dans l’ocan

Petit bateau entre les mains

Puis il se penche doucement

Fait prendre au bateau son chemin

Le petit bateau dangereusement

S’avance pour fendre les flots

Puis se balance gentiment

Comme blotti dans un berceau

Quelque part un moussaillon

A repch un jouet de carton

He looks at the ocean

He thinks the other shore

Imagine other faces

The little darken eyes brids

Frizzy hair or straight hair

The one on the other side He might need some help

His gaze is pure the child

And his gesture so beautiful, so grand

the school he was told

To write a note for his friends

He wrote: World Peace

On a little flowery paper

He thought: The Earth is round

Friends, I must not forget some

This blond little guy

Can't circumnavigate the earth

So he makes it out of cardboard

A boat to defy the sea

Then he turns to the horizon

Full of pride for his boat

He laid deep down

For his friends, the note

He dips his feet in the ocean

Small boat in the hands

Then he bends gently

Makes the boat go its way

The Dangerously Little Boat

Comes forward to split the waves

Then rock gently

Like snuggled up in a crib

Somewhere a cabin boy

Repch a cardboard toy
