Disent que mon coeur en 2010

Voudrait tant je le sens

Partir en quatorze cent

C’est un salon gothique vaste et mélancolique

Où comme une âme en peine moi je traîne

La haut parmi les ombres

Un tableau très sombre me retient toujours

Comme un amour

La nuit souvent

J’emprunte du temps le labyrinthe

Pour m’allonger dans le tableau

Près d’une épée sortie,

Vous, dans l’herbe, endormie

Devant un paysage, votre visage

Qui la nuit vient vers moi

Provoquant l'émoi que je chante aujourd’hui

Comme un ennui.

Alors le vent se lève

Je sens bouger vos lèvres

Et là-bas, les soldats ne nous voient pas

Votre pourpoint qui s’ouvre

Au loin les tours du louvre

Le ciel est tourmenté par vos beautés

Et mon air et mes mots subtils

It is a vast and melancholy gothic drawing room

Where like a lost soul I hang around

Up among the shadows

A very dark picture still holds me back

Like a love

At night often

I borrow time from the labyrinth

To lie in the painting

Near a drawn sword,

You, in the grass, asleep

In front of a landscape, your face

Who at night comes to me

Causing the stir that I sing today

Like a bore.

So the wind picks up

I feel your lips move

And there the soldiers don't see us

Your doublet that opens

In the distance the towers of the Louvre

The sky is tormented by your beauties
