Она досчитала до ста

И прыгнула в реку с моста,

Неспроста —

Всё начала, как с листа,

Но жизнь бесконечно пуста.

Ночами спала неспокойно —

Тревожили сны,

Зато утонула достойно

В центре Москвы.

Счастья ждала торопливо,

Тоже, наверное, зря,

Зато утонула красиво

Напротив Кремля.

She counted to one hundred

And jumped into the river from the bridge,

Not for nothing -

It all started, as if from a leaf,

But life is infinitely empty.

Slept restlessly at night

Dreams disturbed,

But drowned with dignity

In the center of Moscow.

Happiness waited hastily
