Х.. забей is a Soviet/Russian underground band from the city of Vidnoye, founded in 1989 by school friends Бегемотом and Карабасом . The band is known for its parodic approach to music, performing songs in a variety of genres, including punk rock, blues, jazz, pop, and even French chanson. Most of the band's songs have a minimalist structure, consisting of one verse, and lasting 30-50 seconds. Initially, Х.. забей adhered to punk rock, but later expanded their genre boundaries. The band contributed to the development of the underground scene, remaining a unique phenomenon in Russian music.
