W klepsydrze pył się zmienia w pył

Jest teraz to, co było

Co będzie — już się śniło

Dni, noce — do utraty sił

Dwa filary, dwie przepaście

Siebie sobie wyobraźcie

I uwierzcie Eklezjaście

W dość surowy ton

Znów mija ta godzina
