Łapię chwile i cieszę się jak mogę

Mam plan w głowie nie na kartce, którą strawi ogień

To jakby cela, ale taka, w której jest przyjemnie

Otwieram swój umysł na chwilę z dźwiękiem i nie chcę więcej

Litery, słowa, sens, zapach papieru

Obce wszechświaty, zakręty losu bohaterów

I nagle czuję, że sam mógłbym pisać te słowa

Bo tak bliska staje się myśl autora

I nie chcę więcej, życie to rzadko świeczki

Na torcie baloniki, często nerwy i po uśmiechu głupie sprzeczki

Potem tak mocno się kochamy i czujemy równowagę

Rozumiemy, jakie jest to ważne

Patrzę na moje miasto, z mieszkania Józka łapię myśl

Że Starzyński byłby dumny, jeśli mógłby teraz żyć

I widzieć wielką Warszawę, wycieram łzę

I nagle rozumiem jasno, kim jestem i nie chcę więcej

I catch the moments and enjoy as much as I can

There are so many things that I keep reaching out for

One moment can get me happy quickly

And suddenly I feel that I could write these words myself

Then we love each other so much and feel balanced

We understand how important it is

I look at my city, catch a thought from Jozek's apartment
