In silent dreams where hope withers

A drowning voice whispers to deaf ears

Are my eyes sore from starring back?

Into a mortal sun going black

When darkness starts to slip in, it devours everything

And through fiction it begins, dripping sin covered in dim

Your heart is buried under layers of despair, hope burns and turns to ash

And all that remains is scars buried deep under my skin
