Trink ich Bier oder Wein oder lasse ich es sein

Derweil ich grüble trink ich noch ein Met

Früh bis spät nichts mehr geht und die ganze Welt sich dreht

Wer es kennt der mich hier wohl versteht

Trink ich Wein oder Bier trink ich drüben oder hier

Derweil ich grüble trink ich noch Absinth

Nichts fürs Kind wie ich find sagt ein jeder: Ja das stimmt

Schenk ich ein die schöne Farbe Mint

Und ich saufe und saufe und will mich dabei freuen

Ich saufe und saufe und will es nicht bereuen

Und greife ich zum Wasserkrug

Dann hatte ich wohl doch genug

Bei so viel Suff und Bieren können Fehler mal passieren

Trink ich Rum oder Gin weiß nicht recht wofür ich bin

Derweil ich grüble trink ich noch einen Sekt

Mit Respekt wenn er schmeckt ist noch keiner dran verreckt

Und im Geiste fühl ich den Effekt

Und ich saufe und saufe und will mich dabei freuen

Entsag dem tollen Rausche nicht

Und ende ich auch völlig dicht

Schlafen wär dann nicht verkehrt auf dass ich nüchtern werd

Trink ich Punsch oder Korn, womit füll ich nun das Horn

Derweil ich grüble trink ich irgendwas

Ab ins Glas, kühles Nass, schönes Saufen nenn ich das

Zapf ich an den nächsten großen Spaß

Und ich saufe und saufe und will mich dabei freuen

Und greife ich zum Wasserkrug
