— selbst das starre Eise bricht

Seht ihr wie die holde Sonne sich im offenen Wasser wieder erblickt

Sich lang betrachtend, dreht und wendet

Und vor lauter Freude ihr goldenes Auge blitzt

Wie sie ihre hellen Haare schmückt

Wie sie sanft in den Wellen tanzt und hüpft

Wie sie nach der langen, entbehrungsvollen Zeit

All die winzigen, sich nach Licht und Wärme windenden Geschöpfe

Mit ihrem wiedererstrahlten Antlitz beglückt und bescheint

Hört ihr, wie all die großen und kleinen Geister rufen —

Da Ihr nun die Ehre, ein begrüßendes und schallendes Lachen gebährt!
