Wir heißen Winternebel und Kältefaust;

Tausendfacher, unsterblicher Hauch

Wir sind die Lebensgrimmen — Nachtkristall des Nordens

Tausend gefrorene Tränen formen unsren Leib

Unsre Arme aus tausend stummen Bergen

Unsre Beine aus tausend starren Flüssen

Mit dem Atem von tausend Winden

Doch niemand, der die gewaltige Schönheit bewundert

Niemand, der sich in das scheinbar tote Land verirrt

In das Land der tausend Berge und tausend Flüsse…

Alles Land gehört nur uns, uns und den Wölfen

Dem Eisriesen, der Schamanin mit ihrem starken Stamm

Dem Nordstern und seinem weit gereisten Licht

Die Sonne ist nur selten uns ein Gast

Doch der Mond strahlt uns immer zu, ist so weiß wie wir

Wir sind die blassen Geister, die man Winter nennt

Wir nehmen altes Leben, wir schaffen Raum für junge Seelen

Unsre Kà ¤lte gräbt den Weg, auf dem schwarze Schatten…
