One su kao osmijeh i plač,

Desnoj je dano da nosi mač,

To je u stvari njihova bit,

Lijevoj je dano da nosi štit.

Desnoj je dano da drži pero,

Da virtuozno piše i svira,

Lijevoj je ruci dano da prati

I drži bijelu pustoš papira.

A među njima, poput vage,

Čovjek korača, čovjek diše,

Između svojeg jada i snage

Čovjek se njiše, čovjek se njiše.
