Тот июнь, что в глаза мои глянул,

Улыбаясь, мечтая, пророча

Нас привёл на лесную поляну

Где светло от берёз даже ночью.

Там сороки хвостами вертели,

Там, озябшие в травах до дрожи,

Не нашли двух солистов похожих.

И созрело заветное слово

В час, когда я назвал тебя «милой»,

Ты сказала, что любишь другого

И об этом, сказав, позабыла.

Я уйду по густому туману,

Стану жить веселее и проще,

Но, прошу тебя, эту поляну

Никому не показывай больше.

That June that looked into my eyes,

Smiling, dreaming, prophesying

He brought us to a forest glade
