Ya Boy , also known as Я Бой , is an American rapper from the Fillmore District of San Francisco, California, born in 1984. He began his career signing with San Quinn's Done Deal Entertainment , where he released his debut album, Новичок года . In 2008, he signed with Konvict Muzik , and his 2011 single, " Lock Down " became his best-known. He previously collaborated with The Game Black Wall Street Records and Mack 10's Hoo-Bangin' Records , but neither label released an album. Ya Boy contributed to the development of rap, representing the West Coast of the United States.
