
Clyde Carson is an American rapper from Oakland, California, born in 1982. Initially gaining recognition as a member of the hip-hop group The Team, he later pursued a solo career. In 2006, he signed with The Black Wall Street Records and Capitol Records, releasing the EP Doin' That. After a brief stint with these labels, he returned to independent releases under Moe Doe Entertainment, where he dropped the EPs Bass Rock and Playboy. His track "Slow Down" gained notable attention, being featured in the 2013 video game Grand Theft Auto V. Clyde Carson has made a lasting impact on West Coast hip-hop with his distinctive style.
