Воскресение is a Soviet and Russian rock band founded in 1979. Formed by Alexey Romanov and Konstantin Nikolsky, the band became one of the most prominent representatives of Russian rock. The group is known for its melodic compositions, which combine elements of blues, psychedelic rock, art rock, country, and rock 'n' roll. Among Воскресения most popular songs are " Мой друг (лучше всех играет блюз) ," " Снизу вверх " and " Кто виноват ." After a hiatus from 1982 to 1994, the band resumed activity, continuing to influence the genre and remaining a cult favorite among Russian rock fans.
