На том берегу - Воскресение

Он шел наугад

Он шел, спотыкаясь в бреду,

По тонкому льду.

И был снегопад,

И след потерялся в снегу

На том берегу.

Слезой по щеке

Сползают остатки снегов

С крутых берегов.

И лёд на реке

Растает своей чередой,

И станет водой.

Он шёл в темноту,

И бездна казалась видна

До самого дна.

А я на свету

Никак не могу рассмотреть

Хотя-бы на треть.

Хотя бы понять

Удачлив он был или смел,

И как он посмел

Беспечно ронять,

Как в воду бросают гроши,

Осколки души.

Но кажется мне,

Стоит он и машет рукой

За синей рекой.

И, словно во сне,

Бегу, задыхаясь, к нему

В кромешную тьму.

Но только шагну,

Уходит земля из-под ног

И в горле комок.

Лишь только взгляну,

Как след потерялся в снегу

На том берегу

He walked at random

He walked, stumbling in delirium,

On thin ice.

And it was snowing

And the trail got lost in the snow

On that shore.

Tear down your cheek

The rest of the snow is falling

From the steep banks.

And ice on the river

It grows in its turn,

And it will become water.

He walked into the darkness

And the abyss seemed to be visible

To the very bottom.

And I'm in the world

I can't consider

At least a third.

At least understand

Whether he was lucky or brave,

And how dare he

carelessly drop,

How pennies are thrown into the water,

Soul shards.

But it seems to me

He stands and waves his hand

Beyond the blue river.
