Валерия (real name Алла Юрьевна Перфилова ) is a Russian pop singer, born on April 17, 1968, in the USSR. She is a People's Artist of Russia, as well as a People's Artist of the Chechen and Kabardino-Balkarian Republics. Валерия began her musical career in the 1990s and released numerous hits, including "Часики" and "Ты где-то там" . Her albums have repeatedly topped the Russian charts. Валерия is also known for her collaborations with leading Russian composers and producers. Her contribution to the development of Russian pop music has made her one of the most recognizable singers in the country.
