
Trans-Siberian Orchestra (or TSO ) is a musical project founded in 1996 in the United States by composers Paul O'Neill, Robert Kinkel, and vocalist Jon Oliva. The band's name is inspired by the Trans-Siberian Railway in Russia. The group is known for its unique style, which combines heavy rock with elements of classical music, creating neoclassical metal and symphonic rock. TSO gained popularity thanks to their large-scale Christmas shows and albums such as "Christmas Eve and Other Stories" Their work has had a significant influence on the development of symphonic rock.
