Таркан (full name: Хюсаметтин Таркан Теветоглу ) is a Turkish singer, songwriter, and producer, born on October 17, 1972, in Germany. Known as the "Prince of Pop" in Turkey, he has released several platinum albums, selling approximately 19 million copies. In 1997, Таркан founded his own music company HITT Music .
