Müzeyyen Senar (full name: Мюзейен Домбайоглу ) was a Turkish singer born on July 16, 1918, in Turkey. She earned the nickname "Diva of the Republic" for her contributions to the development of Turkish classical music. Müzeyyen Senar began her career in the 1930s and quickly became one of the most renowned performers of her time. Her repertoire included both traditional Turkish songs and works by contemporary composers. During her long career, she received numerous awards and was awarded the title of State Artist of Turkey.
