Стив Хэкетт (full name: Стивен Ричард Хэкетт ) is a British guitarist and songwriter, born 12 February 1950. He rose to prominence as a member of the progressive rock band Genesis , which he joined in 1970. During his time with the band, Хэкетт appeared on eight albums, including seminal works such as "Selling England by the Pound" and "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway" . In 1977, he left Genesis and began a successful solo career, releasing albums such as "Voyage of the Acolyte" .
