Silverstein is a post-hardcore band from Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Formed in 2000 and named after poet and children's author Шела Силверстина , the band has released 10 studio albums, three compilations, two live albums, and six EPs, selling nearly 1 million copies worldwide. Although often categorized as screamo, the band members, including drummer Пола Кёлера , reject this classification. All members of the band are vegetarians, which also distinguishes them in the music industry. Silverstein have made a significant contribution to the development of post-hardcore, remaining one of the most recognizable bands in the genre.
