Shyheim , born Шайхайм Дионел Франклин , is an American rapper from New York City, born November 14, 1977. He rose to prominence as a teenager, releasing his debut album AKA the Rugged Child , in 1994, when he was only 14 years old. Throughout his career, Shyheim has collaborated closely with members of Wu-Tang Clan , including Method Man and Ghostface Killah . His work combines elements of rap and hip-hop, and also reflects the influence of New York's urban culture. Shyheim made a significant contribution to the development of hip-hop in the 1990s, remaining a prominent representative of the genre.
