Сектор Газа was a Soviet and Russian punk rock band from Voronezh, founded on December 5, 1987, by Yuri Klinskikh, also known as Хой . The band quickly gained popularity thanks to its provocative style and lyrics that explored social and everyday themes. Among the band's best-known songs are "Лирика" "Туман" and "Колхозный панк" The band disbanded in 2000 following the death of Yuri Klinskikh. Сектор Газа left a significant mark on the history of Russian punk rock, becoming a cult phenomenon for several generations of listeners.
