Ras Kass is an American rapper born on September 26, 1973. Hailing from the United States, he is known for his contributions to the hip-hop genre. Ras Kass is a member of the hip-hop supergroup The HRSMN, alongside Canibus, Killah Priest, and Kurupt, formed in 2014. He is also part of the group Golden State Warriors with Xzibit and Saafir. Recognized for his lyrical prowess, he was ranked 30th on About.com's list of the 50 greatest MCs of modern times, and Pitchfork Media has called him "one of the greatest rappers of all time."
