Peter Tägtgren is a Swedish musician, composer, and producer, born June 3, 1970. He is the frontman of the death metal band Hypocrisy and the creator of the industrial metal project Pain . Tägtgren also founded the black metal project The Abyss and participated in the supergroups War , Lock Up , and Bloodbath . The owner of The Abyss studio, he has produced albums for such renowned bands as Dimmu Borgir , Sabaton , Therion , and Children of Bodom . Tägtgren has had a significant influence on the development of extreme metal as a musician and producer.
