The Unguided is a melodic death metal band from Falkenberg, Sweden, formed in 2010. The group was founded by Richard Sjunnesson after his departure from Sonic Syndicate. Initially, the lineup included vocalist Roland Johansson and guitarist Roger Sjunnesson, later joined by drummer John Bengtsson and bassist Henric Liljesand. In early 2012, John Bengtsson left and was replaced by drummer Richard Schill. In December 2016, the band announced the departure of Roland Johansson, with Jonathan Thorpenberg stepping in as the new vocalist. The Unguided is known for their energetic performances and contributions to the melodic death metal genre.
