Turmion Kätilöt is a Finnish industrial metal band founded in 2003 by MC Raaka Pee and DJ Vastapallo. Initially, DJ Vastapallo was involved only in the studio, but for live performances, the lineup was expanded to include Spellgoth , Master Bates , RunQ , and DQ , formerly of Ratta Kokkola . The band is known for its energetic performances and the combination of heavy guitar riffs with electronic elements. Turmion Kätilöt have made a significant contribution to the development of industrial metal, becoming one of Finland's most recognizable bands in the genre.
